Despite of Raksha-Bandhan in some part of the country “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Doubara” could not show expected jump on Tuesday and collected slightly better than Monday. It is point to ponder for maker but it is useless to explain its reason.
The film did similar business yesterday as on Monday and collected around 4.25 crores which brings total domestic collection around 49.85 crores. It should take some jump today because, today is Rakshabandhan in major part of the country and can finish 1st week around 58-60 crores. Now, its destiny is largely depends on 2nd weekend performance, if it would be better, it will recover production cost otherwise no need to write what will happen.
It looks as 2013 is not good for Akshay Kumar, so far his two films haves been released but none of them could get big success. “Special Cahbbis” had earned great appreciation of critics and audience but being a off- beat, it could not get that place which it deserved, simply it was a hit film. And now, dull performance of this film has not left any hope. Let see what happens next, still two films “Boss” and “Its Entertainment” are yet to come.
