“Chennai Express” is marching towards Ek Tha Tiger’s record. The film is doing awesome business on box office and collection handsome figure on each day. The film already shattered various records and now, going to make some more new records.
The film already becomes highest grosser film of the year and there is fair chance to reach around or break 3 Idiots record. The way film has performed in last two weeks, it does not look impossible but it depends on the performance of new release film “Madras Café “ on Friday and Satyagrah on 30th August.
The film took great advantage of Rakshay Bandhan on Tuesday and collected more than 7 crores but it showed big drop on 2nd Wednesday and collected around 3.55 crores. Now, after 13 days business films’s total domestic collection is around 193 that means it will break Ek Tha Tiger’s record on third weekend. Film’s total worldwide Collection reached around 289 crores and will go more than 300 crores.
