“Chennai Express” is doing decent business in second week but now its speed is getting slow. The film started slowly on 2nd Saturday in the morning show and took some jump in further shows. The film is still doing good business in particular area like, Bihar, West Bengal, Mysore and Mizam but dropped at other places. The film is getting tough competition with “OUATIMD” in metro cities and other centers.
As far as second Saturday business is concerned it is in the range of 6-6.50, figure can vary; reports from some centers are yet to come. Now, after 9 days business films total domestic collection is around 173 crores and total worldwide collection is around 245 crores.
CE should finish second weekend around 18 crores and 2nd week around 25-27 crores. In third week it will lose some more screens so to break “Three Idiots” record looks little bit difficult but it will decide by films business on weekdays and next week.
