Chennai Express- Fantastic, 4th Satuday, 23rd Day Worldwide Collection

Rohit Shetty directed and Shahrukh Khan & Deepika Padukonne starrer film “Chennai Express” has done awesome business in last three week but now “Satyagraha” has limited it on fewer screens in 4th week. Though it shrunken on very limited screen but its performance is fantastic, film is still rocks on the box office. The film already shattered almost all previous records and registered its name in the list all time blockbuster film, on top place.

If we talk about 4th Friday and Saturday, it did good business and collected around 0.75 and 1.10 crores. Now, total domestic collection is around 214.40 crores and total worldwide collection around 222.40 crores. The film will finish fourth weekend around 4 crores and 4th week around 6 crores.  Life time domestic collection will stay around 217 crores and worldwide around 225 crores. lifetime gross worldwide collection would stay around 400 crores.

Satyagraha 2nd Day Collection

 Amitabh Bachchan starrer film “SATYAGRAHA” had taken decent opening on Friday, The film started with average occupancy 35% in the morning show but improve later by word of mouth. Film took good jump in the prime time and finish first week around 11.20 crores. This figure is decent because Friday is a working day.

If we talk about Saturday, film stared with better occupancy in initial show and improved in each show. The film took good jump and collected around 13.50 crores; figure may vary because reports from varous centers are still coming. The film performed very good in  mass area and improved in multiplex from yesterday. 

Trend shows positive world of mouth so film will  flourish on coming day. It should take big jump on Sunday which is necessary for good weekend. Right now, first weekend looks around 38 crores.

Madras Cafe- Fantastic 2nd Saturday Collection

John Abraham starrer film “Madras Café” had done good business in first week despite competion with "Chennai Express" but now it is getting tough competition with new releases mega film “Satyagraha”. The film lost reasonable number of screens and now, mostly available on multiplex.

If we talk about 2nd Friday and Saturday business, the film did decent business on whatever  screens is available and collected around 1.50 crores on Friday, further it took some jump on Saturday and collected around 2.25 crores.

Now, total domestic collection is around 35.43 crores and total wordwide Collection 40 crores plus. The film will collect around 6 crores on weekend and finish second week around 9 crores.
