Aashiqui 2 has done stupendous business on first weekend and grossed 19.25 crores. First time in 2013, a non starrer film did such great business. The film had taken fantastic opening of 5.50 crores on Friday and improved on Saturday with decent jump and grossed 6.25 crores further it took big jump on Sunday and grossed 7.50 crores.
As it was expected film started nicely on Monday. It continues fantastic business on mass centers. Though it showed some drop but it is usual drop on weekday. Monday collection should come around 2.80 crores. Film will finish first week around 28 crores and lifetime around 40 crores.
The film already recovered production cost which is around 12 crores. All party associated with this film will be in profit and this would be first super hit film of year. Content has impress youth highly so chance of repeat audience is fair.
