Iron Man 3 is doing amazing business on overseas box office. The film broke Avengers first weekend collection by margin of 10 million dollar. It was released in 42 countries on Friday and now finishesfirst weekend with mammoth 195 million dollar.

As far as Indian box office is concerned it grossed 21.55 crores on weekend and emerged as 2nd highest first weekend grosser after The Amazing Spiderman.

The film started positively on weekday with around 55% drop from Friday and collected around 3.25 crores. Now, total 4 days collection is 24.80 crores. It is decent amount for a Hollywood film on weekday. It will finish first week around 31 crores and lifetime around 40 crores.

Iron Man 3 is doing amazing business on overseas box office. The film was released in 42 countries on Friday and now finished first weekend with mammoth 1st weekend with 195 million dollar that is more than weekend collection of Avengers 185 million dollars.

The film broke record opening day collection and weekend collection in some countries. The film is yet to release on domestic box office.

As far as Indian box office is concerned it has completed first weekend with 21.55 crores and become 2nd highest first weekend grosser after The Amazing Spiderman. The film collected consecutive 7.30 crores, 6.75 crores and 7.50 crores on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Now, it started weekday positively. It did fantastic business on Monday with usual drop and estimated collection is 3.75 crores. It will finish first week around 31 crores and lifetime around 40 crores.

Aashiqui 2 4th Day, Monday Collection

Aashiqui 2 has done stupendous business on first weekend and grossed 19.25 crores. First time in 2013, a non starrer film did such great business. The film had taken fantastic opening of 5.50 crores on Friday and improved on Saturday with decent jump and grossed 6.25 crores further it took big jump on Sunday and grossed 7.50 crores.

As it was expected film started nicely on Monday. It continues fantastic business on mass centers. Though it showed some drop but it is usual drop on weekday. Monday collection should come around 2.80 crores. Film will finish first week around 28 crores and lifetime around 40 crores.

The film already recovered production cost which is around 12 crores. All party associated with this film will be in profit and this would be first super hit film of year. Content has impress youth highly so chance of repeat audience is fair.

Salman Khan's Upcoming film in 2013-2014

In present time, Salman Khan is king of box office; from last three years, he has given back to back 5 super hit film including two blockbusters. This is greatest achievement of his career, all films crossed benchmark of 100 crores on domestic box office. So far, no any super star has given consecutive five hundred crores film.

 Last year, his two films Ek Tha Tiger & Dabangg 2 came. First one proved hurricane and blew away other films. Film opened with 32 crores on first day and grossed 188 crores on home box office wherever second one opened with 22 crores and grossed 152 crores. Right now, Salman Khan holds two titles biggest holiday opener and biggest non holiday opener. Now question rises, will he continue his streak in 2013?

Let us take a glance on his upcoming film in 2013-14. There are three films “Mental”, “Kick” and “Sher Khan” line up in next two years. Shooting of “Mental” is on but Salman is facing two problems health and legal so date of release of Mental is not yet fixed. His brother Arbazz Khan has said that date will be announced after completion of film. So there is illusion over release in 2013. It may or may not be release in 2013.

Sher Khan:- This film has been put on hold. It will begin in 2014 after completion of Mental and Kick. The film will be produce and directed by Sohal Khan. It will be a super-hero film. Lead actress is not yet finalized and supposed to be new face.
