“SATYAGRAHA” is a political thriller film based on social problem, before release there was doubt in many people’s mind that will it impress people despite embellished with big stars? But now, all illusion has been removed. The film got good opening and did good business on weekend. Now, it enters weekday, which is working day and crucial for any film. But once again film sustains well and gathers good amount on each passing day.
The film got positive response of audience and continues its pace on weekday. As far as Tuesday business is concerned, film showed some drop from Monday and gathered around 4.50 crores . Now, total domestic collection is 48.91 crores and total worldwide collection around 58.91 crores.
The film should finish first week around 57-60 crores that means it has faint chance to touch or cross milestone of 100 crores if it happens, it would be first film of Amitabh Bachchan that cross 100 crores milestone. I am not weighting Big B in terms of money that is totally wrong thing. He has given many super hit and blockbuster films and If we revalue his film came in 70’s, 80’s or 90’s in term of today’s money value, then we get many films that cross 100 crores or 200 crores mile stone.
