Aamir Khan's Upcoming film in 2013-14

As we know that Aamir Khan is perfectionist and his film known for unique content, usually he does one film in a year and sends some message to society like, “Tare Zami Pe” and “Three Idiots.” But, his last film “Talaash” was an action thriller cum supernatural film, different from his usual films. Right now, he is doing two films Dhoom 3, sequel of Dhoom & Dhoom 2 and Peekay.  These two films will be release in 2013-14. Let us take a glance over these two films.

DHOOM 3

Dhoom 3 is an action thriller film directed by Vijay Krishan and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. Abhishke Bachchan and Uday Chopra will reprise their roles as Jai Dixit and Ali Khan while Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif replaced Hritik Roshan and Ashwarya Roy Bachchan. Film set to release on December 25, 2013, on the eve of Christmas.

There are great buzz and expected to be among top earner of the year 2013. It may be highest grosser of the year.

PEEKAY:

Amir khan’s next film is “Peekay” directed and produced by Three Idiots fame Raj Kuamar Hirani.  The film is also co-directed by Junaid Khan. This is a political satire film. Lead actors along with Amir Khan are Anuskha Sharma, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh.  Release date is not yet finalized, expected to release in early 2014.

Iron Man 3, Superb, Wednesday, 6th Day Collection

Iron Man 3 sustain properly on weekdays and garnering handsome amount on each passing day.  The film is doing fantastic business in multiplex and metros cities and giving good competition to Aashiqui 2 in urban areas. Now, it has completed 6 days journey on Indian box office and collected around 30.50 crores.

This is first Hollywood film in 2013 which got such kind of response on Indian box office. Last week released Tom Cruise starrer film Oblivion had not done good business.

The film did fantastic business on Wednesday and collected 2.80 crores. Now it will finish first week around 33 crores and finish lifetime around 37-40 crores on Indian box office.

Aashiqui 2 Wednesday, 6th Day Collection

Aashiqui 2 reign on the box office. The film continues super business on each passing day; simply, it is unstoppable and super hit. This is a pleasant surprise, a non starrer film with new faces does such kind of performance but it was not unexpected.  A great content often rocks. So credit of success goes to its great content and melodious music which wins public’s heart. 

The film had done rocking business on weekend and gave clear indication of fantastic business on weekdays. And it is happening, film started with positive note on Monday and showed less than usual drop, collected 3.85 crores, further it did similar business on Tuesday and collected 3.90 crores.

As far as Wednesday business is concerned it took advantage of holiday (labor-day) & collected around 4.10 crores, brings 6 day’s total domestic collection around 31.10 crores. Now, it will finish first week around 34-35 crores.

Shootout At Wadala: Preview & Predction

“SHOOTOUT AT WADALA” is an action crime film. It is sequel of “Shootout at Lokhandwala” which came in 2007. The film is directed and written by Sanjay Gupta. There are Jonh Abraham, Kangna Ranuat, Manoj Bajpai, Sonu Sood, Anil Kapoor and Tussar Kapoor in lead role. Film is produced under banner of Balaji Tele Films.

STORY: The story of the film is based on the book “Dongri To Dubai” written by Hussain Zaidi and inspired by the real life incident transpired in Mumbai on 1st, November, 1982; when a gangster Manya Surve was shot dead near Dr, Ambedkar College, Wadala, Mumbai. This was first-ever registered encounter by Mumbai police. The film set to release on May 03, 2013.

PREDICTION: This is second installment and sequel of Shootout at Lokhandwala. Since, its genre is a crime action so film won’t get great response. It will take good opening and further business will depend on word of mouth. It is expected to receive hit status. Since it is a sequel and co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta so there is great possibility of good business. Once again I like to say, content and mood of audience will play main role.
