Ghanchakkar had done good business on weekend and collected around 22.80 crores but film showed more than usual drop about 55-60% on Monday.
This is somewhat unexpected for Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan’s film who have good fan followers. Emraan’s film is known for love story and melodious song whenever Vidya’s film is known for good content but this drop has surprised everyone.
Despite 55% drop, film manages to collect 3 crores which brought total domestic collection around 25 crores in 4 days. It will finish first week around 34-35 crore. This won’t be a bad figure and hope for hit status is alive. Actual figure will clear in 2nd Week. Film is getting tough competition with Raanjhanaa.
