“BHAG MILKHA BHAG” has done fantastic business on first weekend and bagged handsome amount into bag. The film had started slowly in initial show on Friday and flourished onward by great word of mouth. The film received positive reviews and positive public response made it way very easy.
The film took big jump on Sunday and collected around 12.25 crores and finished weekend around 32 crores as estimated. As the trend has developed it will continue this performance on weekdays and finish first week around 45 crores. Best aspect of film is that it is performing very well on multiplexes and mass centers.
Since it’s budget is 50 crores (32 + 18) and released over 1600-1800 screens so it will have to continue this performance in next two weeks to get hit status. Film required 88-90 crores lifetime to get hit status. This film is also another surprise of 2013, a film based on athlete gets great response.
