I like to say one thing again that “Bhag Milkha Bhag” is running as great Milkha Singh used to run on Olympic track. The film breaks all expected boundary and garner fabulous amount on each passing day, there is no impact of new released films.
Today, it achieved another milestone, BMB crossed 100 crores benchmark worldwidely on 17th day and expected to touch this mark by next two weeks on domestic box office.
Right now, BMB has finished third weekend successfully and garner 7.15 crores that helps it to reach around 187.55 crores. Now, it is 12.45 crores far away from 100 crores bench mark on home box office. It should collect around 4 crores on third weekdays as trend has made and rest 8.5 crores is possible in next two weeks.
Now, let us come to the business of third weekend, The film did fantastic business and took decent jump on Saturday and Sunday, consequently, collected 1.85, 2.45 and 3.25 crores on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Brief Introduction of film:- This is a sports film based on biography of legend Indian athlete Milkha Singh. The film is produce and directed by Rakeysh Om Prakhas Mehra. Script is written by Prasoon Joshi and music is composed by Shankar, Ehshan and Loy. The film is starrer Farhan Akhtar, Sonam Kapoor and Meesha Shafi. Budget of film is Rs. 30 crores.
Most interesting fact about this film is that Milkha singh sold the story just for one rupee. The profit from the film will be used for the benefit of needy athletes. The name of the film is comes from the last words spoken by his father, that was to save his life during the riots of Partition of India.
During the partition, Singh lost his family members. The story talks about his perseverance as an athlete and also as a courageous human spirit.
