“Aurangzeb” had started slowly in the morning show on Friday and many people were saying that it would be difficult for this film to get even 3 crores opening but film improved later and taken decent jump in evening and night show, consequently it collected around 3.92 crores which is not a small start for a film starrer with new actor.
This is second film of Arjun Kapoor, his first film was hit and we cannot expect superstar like opening with a new actor. Overall opening is good.
As far as critics review is concerned different critics have different views, if we talk about Taran Adarsh, he says film has great plot but it is not guarantee of big opening. On the whole it is mix to negative and word of mouth is mixed to positive.
The film stared with same trend on Saturday; occupancy in initial shows was around 25-30% across the country but it improved later and took good jump in evening and night shows. So far, reports from all centers are not yet received but estimated collection is around 4.5 crores. The film is doing good business in mass area and average at urban areas. Performance in Delhi, NCR.
