Aashiqui 2 rocks on the home box office in second week. There is no affect of new released movies, either it is Shootout At Wadala, Bombay Talkies or Chhota Bhim. It is still first choice of audience. It runs like a super fast train which does not stop before destination. The film is unstoppable and extending towards blockbuster after getting super hit status. Off course content fascinated audience and they are pulling towards theater as iron pulled by a magnet.
If we talk about weekdays business it did fantastic business in 2 days and helped it to crossed the mark of 50 crores on 12th day which was expected at the end of 2nd week.
The film showed only 10-12% drop on Monday from Friday and collected 1.90 crores further it did similar business on Tuesday and collected around 1.70 crores. Now, total collection is 50.20 crores and in next two days it will collected around 3 crores, that means it will finish 2nd week around 16 crores and total collection will be around 53.50 crores.
If it can gather around 7 crores in 3rd week then it will cross 60 crores mark but all this depend on screens available in third week and performance new films. Right now, life time collection looks around 65 crores. If it happens it will be first blockbuster of the year.
