Aashiqui 2 is doing great job on the box office and garnering handsome amount on each passing day. This film is emerging as biggest hit of the year till today and marker including entire team is celebrating success party.
It seems that people were hungry to see a classic love story and now, nobody wants to quit this opportunity. It is not unexpected because Aashiqui had also done superb performance and was biggest hit of the year.
The lead actor Adity Roy Kapoor had started his career with Akshay Kumar starrer film Action Reply but unfortunately, that film, having good content, got flop. Lead actress Sharddha Kapoor had also started her career with “Love Ka The End” but that film was also not a successful film. Now both of them test success and their career look bright.
If we talk about it business on Wednesday, it took advantage of May Day and did better business than Monday and Tuesday. The film showed around 15% jump on Wednesday and collected 4.50 crores. Further, it showed some drop on Thursday and collected around 3.90 crores. Now, it has completed first week around 35.40 crores as expected.
Tomorrow, Shootout At Wadala is releasing but it is different genre film so business will not be affected. It will continue good business on 2nd weekend and collection should come around 8-10 crores and 2nd week around 15 crores. It will finish lifetime 55 crores or more.
