“Special Chabbis” is a heist drama film directed by Neeraj Pandey and starrer Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggrawal, Anupam Kher, Manoj Bajpai and Jimmy Shergil. Budget of this film is 42 crores. The film is based on real incidence happened in 80s. This off beat film of Akshay Kumar and success of film indicates that people have accepted him in another role.
The film was released on 8th February, 2013 over 1750 screens and took an ordinary opening, 7 crores but it earned exceptionally well reviews and awesome public response consequently it improved further days; The film did fantast ic business and collected 26.50 crores on first weekend. The film contined perfromance on weekdays and finished 1st week fantastically and collected 44 crores.
The film lost good number of screens in 2nd week due to some new releases therefore collection gets affected. It preformed well on less screens and collected 17.55 crores which was handsome amount. Again, it lost big number of screens in 3rd week therefore it’s business got affected. The film did fantastic business whatever screens was available and collected 5.5 crores.
The film did fantastic business in three week and collected 66 crores on domestic box office. Now, 4th week is in progress but it shrunken on fewer screens due three more release so collection will come in that ration.
4th weekend estimated collection is around 1 crores and it is expected that it collect around 2 crores in fourth week.
The film has also done good business on overseas center and so far it has collected around 13.50 crores. The total worldwide collection is 81.55 crores.
