Himmatwala 1st Weekend Collection

“Himmatwala” is an action comedy film embellished with Super star Ajay Devgyn and south’s fascinating actress Tammana Bhatia in lead role. The film is directed by Sajid Khan who made multiple claims before release so everybody was impatiently waiting for most hyped film of 2013, with plenty of expectation.

The day came when it released but it started to give surprise from initial show. The film started slowly in morning show and grew as day progressed but not so much. After initial show film experts and critics gave their verdict which was very negative. 

They pulled leg of director Sajid Khan for bad direction, excess dialoguebazi and over dose of action but there was hope with word of mouth which was mixed on day first but soon it converted into negative on Saturday.

The film collected 10.50 crores on opening day and declined on Saturday resultantly it gathered only 7.50 crores. Further it took slight jump on Sunday and collected 8.5 crores which is poor figure. The film finished first weekend with very disappointing figure 26.50 crores and destiny is almost fixed. 

Now it would be tough even to recover production cost. It will show big drop on weekday and finished first week around 40 crores which is minimum expected weekend collection. Performance in mass area like Bihar, UP, Gujrat, Rajsthan  is good but it is not enough to make it a hit film

Himmatwala Sunday Trend and Update of Friday & Saturday Update

Himmatwala is not doing well on Sunday, instead of taking big jump it shows drop at both centers single screens and multiplex. The film had started to decline from Saturday and continues on Sunday. The film had received very negative reviews of critics and there was hope with word of mouth but it is also mixed to negative and it is proved by collection.

Whatever trend has received so far it indicates Sunday collection would be around Saturday or less. This is big disappointment for makers, director and actor Ajay Devgyn. This may be humiliating situation for director Sajid Khan who had made multiple claims earlier.

It seems that people have started to reject it and condition on weekdays would be worrying. 1st weekend collection is going to be disappointing it would be around 30 crores 15 crores less than expectation. The update collection of Friday is 10.50 crores and 7.50 crores plus on Saturday.

Akshay Kumar's film with TIPS will titled "Oh My Dog"?

Will title of Akshay Kumar upcoming film with Tips be “Oh My Dog”? Yes, there is buzz in the B- town that the title of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film with Tips has been almost finalized. It would be “Oh My Dog”. Don’t get surprise, it looks true, 8 hours ago Akshay Kumar himself gave such indication.

He twitted on twitter, “Just heard about some news floating around that my next Tips film with Sajid Farhad is called Oh My Dog! That's news…”

“Oh My Dog” (probable title) will be comedy film and female actor opposite Aksahy will be Tammana, who is debuting Bollywood by “Himmatwala. Film will be co-directed by Sajid-Farhad who was dialogue writer of super hit film, Golmaal Returns, Housefull-2 and Bol Bachchan. Most part of film will be shot at Cape Town. The film will release in first week of July. It would be second film of Akshay in 2013.

Few weeks ago Akshay Kumar had signed a deal of two films with Tips. It was deal of 80 crores for two films. First will be comedy and it will be co-directed by Sajid Farhad. This film will come on the floor in first week of July.

Himmatwala 2nd Day Trend, Update

Himmatwala has taken good opening on Friday. The film did very good business on single screens as expected and average on multiplex. It collected around 10.50 crores on first day which was expected around 15 crores but overall opening was good.

The film received negative reviews from critics as it happens in the case of single screen dominated film but got thump up in mass belt. If we talk about Sajid Khan directed film, none of his film has received good reviews, so reviews were expected so. Sajid Khan has already said that he makes film for audience not for critics. So he does not care what critics say about his film.

Now come to the word of mouth, it is positive in mass belt and mixed in multiplex dominated area. Early trend on Saturday is better than Friday and it should collect more than Friday. The estimated Saturday collection is around 12-13 crores. Real figure will clear later. Film started slowly in morning shows but grew later as day grew. If film does exceptionally well in evening and night show, figure would be different.

Himmatwala 2nd Day Worldwide Collection update

“Himmatwala” did not take bumper opening on day first but it cannot be said bad. Performance on Friday was satisfactory at mass centers and average in urban areas which made it satisfied with 10.50 crores. Overall first day business was okay. Since, it is released over more than 3000 screens so it is below expectation considering Ajay Devgyn star power.

 It received very negative reviews and become mockery on social network. Overall word of mouth is mixed and this is point to ponder for makers, director and lead actor Ajay Devgyn.

The film started slowly in morning shows on Saturday and grows later. Early trend on some place was nice as I said last evening but overall it did below business on Saturday with 3 crores drop and collected around 07.50 crores. Most surprising thing is that it showed drop at some place.

Performance in mass area like Bihar, UP, Gujrat, Rajsthan  is good but it cannot help it to touch the milestone of 100 crores on the basis of performance in some certain areas. Time will tell what will happen to this film but right now,  it does not look even to touch 80 crores marks.

In two days business it has collected only 18.00 crores and as the trend has developed in last two days it does not look that it will touch even 30 crores mark at first weekend. Real test will begin on weekdays and that will fix its fate. It seems that the claim made by director Sajid Khan is going to be wrong.
